New card.
Hey there!! I meant to get this posted last Friday and I just haven't gotten around to it until now.
I picked up a package of doilies at Michaels about a month ago or so and I've been so excited to try them out!!
Hope you are doing well. Things are good here. Abie had her last tournament Sunday, but we've had something going on every night this week still. How does that happen??
I have a fun project I want to share to. Hopefully I'll get that posted early next week!! Until then, have an awesome day and I appreciate the visit :)

Dad's birthday card
Good grief I had this ready to post last week and I just didn't get around to it. Sorry about that!!
My dad's birthday was a little over a week ago and I made this card for him. I have a few 6x6 paper pads that are more masculine than my others and I always turn to those for projects like these :)
We had a great weekend here. It was a little more chilly than I would have liked, and we woke up to *just a bit * of snow on Sunday morning.
Hope things are great where you are!! If I can remember, ha, I'll be back Wednesday with a birthday project for one of Landry's friends. Until then, have an awesome day!!

Simple birthday invitations.
I found these embossed card bases at Michael's, six in a package for $1.50, with envelopes! I stamped the sentiment on PTI Hawaiian Shores cardstock, rounded one corner and popped the piece up with foam tape. Done. The older the kids get, the easier the invites are to make :)
What are you plans this weekend? We're supposed to get more snow, yuck. Ours had finally melted and now we're getting more :( On the bright side, we're puppy sitting a sweet little guy tonight. I can't wait to see how Dirk does with him!!
Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Happy Valentine's Day!
Today I wanted to share one more Valentine with you.
I started off with a pre-made base that was embossed and then layered on a cute polka dot bag. I filled the bag up and layered on Valentine themed embellishments.
I hope you have a wonderful Valentine's Day and be sure to tell your loved ones you love them EVERY day, not just today :) We have a big weekend, Abie's birthday party/sleepover is tomorrow and then we have Monday off too! Yay! Thanks for stopping by and I'll see you soon!

Valentine Card
Sorry for the wonky angle, I couldn't get this picture right.
This was a pre-made base with a small heart pre printed on the bottom. I covered it up with the red doily and then layered on some fun Valentine pieces. I love those enamel dots!
We're headed to volleyball practice tonight and I'm super excited for tomorrow because it's supposed to be ABOVE freezing! Hahaha!
Thanks for stopping in today and I'll be back tomorrow with Landry's Valentine's for her class. Have a great Tuesday :)

Lunchbox notes.
These cards started out at 2.5 x 2.5 purple polka dots with flowers. I quickly covered them with black card stock and then embellished them with post it note flags. I stamped a few different sentiments and added some fun embellishments on a couple. So quick and simple, but the girls love them!
That's it for me today. I hope you have a wonderful Wednesday and I appreciate the visit!! Thanks for stopping in!

Veteran's Day.
The card may look pretty simple, but it actually took me awhile to figure out the proportions. Haha! Math major I was not.
I kept the inside very simple and then wrote a separate note to enclose.
I want to say thank you to all the Veteran's for their service. Hope everyone has a wonderful Monday. Thank you for stopping by today.

Friend card.
Today I wanted to share with you a card that has been sitting on my desk for a couple of weeks, unfinished. I had everything on it, but the sentiment. I just wasn't sure how to finish it off. Then it struck me to stamp a sentiment in the middle of the journaling card. Genius, right? Haha! So I found the perfect sentiment, thought I would use black ink, so it would show up, and then I was immediately unhappy with the results. I feel like the bottom line isn't clear enough and I really wish I would have used a different color of ink. I'm also wondering if the font isn't appropriate for the style of card...
I really liked the way this card was BEFORE the sentiment and now I just like it okay. Ha! I'll just make a more awesome one next time!
Thanks for popping in for a minute today. Abie has volleyball tonight so it's a quick dinner and then off we go. Speaking of dinner, you see how I did that there? I've been working on a meal planning notebook, post later this week, and I'm thinking about doing some freezer meals. Do any of you do this? Right now, we'll cook some things on the weekend and then reheat later in the week if we need something fast, but I'm wondering about the freezer thing. Would LOVE your input!
Have a beautiful Monday friends! See you tomorrow!

Baby card.
Hey there! Sorry to go missing on you for a few days, but this is one of those weeks when life had gotten in the way.
I did want to stop in and post a quick card I made Monday night for Abie's volleyball coach who just had a baby last week.
I was going for a banner look here and then realized I didn't really have any banner die cuts. Hmm, must go shopping. Haha!
I won't be around tomorrow, but I should be back at it on Monday. Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you have beautiful weekend!

Lunch box notes
Happy weekend eve!! For as slow as last week was, this week is flying by foot me!!
My youngest loves to take her lunch to school and I love to put notes in her lunch box, but the start of this school year snuck up on me and I didn't have a stash ready to go. So imagine hire horrible I felt when she came to me and said, "mommy, why don't you put notes in my lunch anymore?". Aaahhh!!!!
I whipped up a couple to get me through, and thought I would share with you just how quick and easy they can be.
I made these in the perfect lunch box size, 3x6, added some washi and a card stock stickers. Bam, done! Probably took me longer to write this post. Haha!
Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you'll come by tomorrow. I have a fun fall decoration I whipped up with a great clearance find!! Have a fabulous Thursday!

Thank you for a coworker.
I pieced together some bits and pieces I had leftover and I really like how this turned out. I wish I would have taken a picture of the inside. I stamped a big "thank you" on the inside in a pretty red and I I loved the way it looked!
We're here at the end of the week. One more event, and we'll have made it! Meet the teacher for the middle school tonight and then we're going to take the girls out to dinner. Mike is headed to St Louis tomorrow with some friends so the girls and I are going to have a girls Saturday/Sunday :) What are your plans for the weekend?
Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you have a great Friday and a wonderful weekend. I'll see you soon!

Mom's Birthday card.
I used some old Crate Paper paper, my favorite, and a matching journaling card. Then I added some ephemera to the top of the journaling card and popped the whole thing up with foam adhesive. I stamped the sentiment onto the journaling card with a dark red Momento ink called Rhubarb, I think. It matched the flowers almost perfectly!
Thank you so much for stopping by today and I hope you have a wonderful Tuesday! I'll be back tomorrow with either another card or a fun new find I meant to post last week :) See you then!

Tracy's Birthday card.
This was not quite how I expected it to turn out, but no card I make ever is. Haha! I stamped on a very pale patterned paper, but it didn't photograph well.
Thanks for stopping by on this awesome Thursday! I hope you have a fantastic day!! See you tomorrow!

A new card for Friday!
Today I'm sharing a card I made for my Grandad's birthday earlier this month. I knew I wanted to use this background stamp and I already had the aqua base cut out. The rest of it just sort of came together.
This stamp is so weird, because of the texture. I think I would use it more if it was just solid. I wonder how I would like it on patterned paper? Hmm...
I hope you have a great Friday night and a wonderful weekend! Thanks for stopping by today!

Guess what I got back...
So, I'm happy to say, today I'm posting a new card. I created this almost two weeks ago and took a photo of it with my big camera. It's been long gone in the mail, so there was no way to retake the photo with my phone.
No stamping on this. I just used a, Simple Stories I think, 6x6 pad and added a couple of embellishments. It really doesn't get much easier than that, now does it?
I have Project Life updates to share, a birthday book the girls made from Landry's slumber party, another card, a chalkboard, all kinds of fun stuff this week! Landry has her last week of swim lesson this week and Abie has her last two summer volleyball games. Busy week, but good :)
Thanks for sticking with me through my lull and I'll be back tomorrow with another project or card or something! See you then!!

I'm here, but maybe only for today...
Good morning! We had a wonderful week last week and I'm sad to see it come to an end. We did lots of fun things around the house and city and lots of relaxing too.
One thing we did was drop my laptop off to get the screen fixed! Yay! It should be ready by the end of this week. The problem with blogging is, I took pictures of my crafty projects last week with my camera and not my phone, so I'm not sure how I'll post, until I get my laptop back.
I snapped this photo last night, after Landry and I finished working on her Thank You Cards.
Hopefully I get my laptop back soon and things are back to normal around here!
Thanks for stopping in today and I hope to see you soon!!

Birthday Invitations
I found a design similar to this online, the card shape with the pull out part, and fell in love with it. It didn't have dimensions or anything so I had to guess.
Here's a peek at the insert. I kept these pretty simple since I was making so many! These are doubling as birthday invites for Landry and a barbecue to follow. Are you planning a patriotic party this year?
We had a fabulous day/evening yesterday. I was super productive at work and home, had a WONDERFUL visit with friends last night and just enjoyed the beautiful weather.
Thanks for stopping by today. Have a great Tuesday and I'll see you tomorrow!

New card
Today I'm sharing the Father's Day card I made for my dad. It's a bit non-traditional, in that it doesn't say "happy Father's Day"
But it does say Life is Good and that's because it is. Good for my dad and good because of my dad, and my mom :) I used one of my favorite Simple Stories lines for this, just paper and some foam tape. Love it!
Lots of swimming going on here, and volleyball, and just enjoying summer. That means not a lot of crafting. But I do have a lot of ideas! Haha! I hope you're enjoying your summer and spending your time the way you want to! Thanks for stopping by today to share a minute with me. I appreciate it :) See you tomorrow with an organizational re-do of my Filofax tote! Have a great Thursday!

A new card.
Good morning! Today I'm sharing a card I made with a few fun pieces in my stash.
Some washi tape, a journaling card, a tiny tag and a bit of twine. I picked up this cardstock, that I used for the base of the card, at Joann's and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. I usually use Papertrey Ink cardstock for all of my bases because of the nice thick weight, but this will definitely do in a pinch!
Thanks for stopping by today and I'll see you tomorrow! Have a great Wednesday!
