Morning everyone!  Today I'm linking up over at CAS-UAL FRIDAYS with their challenge for this week.

This week the challenge was to make a clean and simple project featuring things you'd see in the sky!  How fun is that?

This is what I came up with...

I started out with a sky blue card base and misted it with Mr. Huey's.  Then I just added a punched cloud, butterfly and double banners with my sentiment.  For just a little something extra, I placed a white pearl on the butterfly and next to my sentiment.  If you don't count the drying time of the mist...this card came together so quick!

Well, one day of training down, one day to go :)  and then tomorrow is Friday!!  Hope you have a fantastic Thursday.  Thanks for stopping in today and I'll see you tomorrow.

Morning and happy Thursday to you!  I can't believe it's Thursday already!  This week has flown by for me.

Today I'm sharing a card I made for Casual Fridays Challenge this week.  It was a color challenge and it was just what I needed to get my mojo going again!

The colors were lime green, aqua and navy.  I used PTI Hawaiian Shores, Simply Chartreuse and Enchanted Evening.

I stamped my Studio Calico/Hero Arts sunburst in Hawaiian Shores ink onto my Hawaiian Shores card base, I love that tone on tone look.  Then I just layered on all my other pieces.  Once I got going the card came together pretty quick!

Hope you have a beautiful Thursday.  Thanks for stopping by today and I'll be back tomorrow with another card for another challenge!

Good morning and happy Monday to you!  Did you have a nice weekend?  It was beautiful here, a bit chilly compared to the almost summer like weather we were having, but still lovely!  I didn't get down to craft until late on Sunday but when I did it was because I was inspired by the challenge at CAS-ual Fridays this week.  I didn't make any Easter cards this year so when I saw thought I would join in.  Especially since it was Easter yesterday and I was in the crafty mood :)  The challenge this week was to create a clean and simple project using something you would find in an Easter Basket.

I chose to make a 4x4 card, in pastel pink and stamped five tiny eggs across the front in pretty pastel colors.

Then I stamped my sentiment and I was done!  Pretty clean and simple :)  It's been so long since I've played along with CAS-ual Fridays and this was so fun!!  I've really missed it!

I hope you have a wonderful day today!  I'll chat with you again tomorrow.  Thanks for stopping by :)

Hello!!!!!!!!  How you doing today?  I'm super excited about my card today :)  I'm playing along with Casual Fridays and their challenge this week is...

To use ribbon loops, and the loops on bows don't count!  How fun is that?  This card came together while I was standing in the middle of my room staring off in to space.  Don't you love when that happens?  Haha!

Oooohhhhh, this card makes me smile!  :)  I hope it makes you smile today too!  Have a fantabulous Tuesday!  Thanks for coming today and I'll see you back here tomorrow my lovelies!

Good Wednesday morning!  So last night I decided to work on a card for CAS-ual FRIDAYS CHALLENGE!!!!!  The challenge this week was to use stickers :)

Now I don't have a ton of stickers, but I do have a little stash of American Crafts letter stickers and I had, what I thought to be, a GREAT idea to color my stickers in and use them to form a rainbow sentiment.  Well...it was not a great idea.  It was a flop.  Haha!

Enter Plan B:

I used my centering ruler and lots of American Crafts stickers to form my background.  I added some simple red Martha Stewart twine and a few little embellishments along with my sentiment.  Not bad for a Plan B :)

Have a great Wednesday and I'll see you tomorrow!  Thanks for passing through today!

Welcome Wednesday, why do you have to be so hot?  We are still stuck in this hot, hot heat with extreme heat indexes up to 115 degrees.  Not too much you can do in that heat, right?  But you can craft!  This week I'm playing along with Casual Fridays Challenge and the challenge this week was to use rub ons.  I have a bunch of rub ons and NEVER use them so this really was a challenge for me.

These particular rub ons I picked up at Big Lots several years ago and let me tell you, sometimes there's a reason why things are at Big Lots.  Haha!  These rub ons are American Crafts and I don't know if they were a bad batch or what but they are really crappy :)
Enjoy your Wednesday.  Thanks for coming by today and I'll see you tomorrow!

Aaahhh, Wednesday already.  Gotta love a short week, don't ya?  Today I'm playing along with Casual Fridays and the challenge this week was Krafts and Men!  Two of my favorites!  Haha! Check out the link above for all the details.

I stamped a thin strip of black wood grain across the middle of my Kraft base.  Then I cut a 3x3 piece of Kraft and heat embossed the tricycle with black embossing powder.  I added a bit of bakers twine and popped it up with some foam dimensionals.  I finished off the card with a sentiment in the bottom corner.

This manly Kraft card couldn't have come at a better time!  My Grandad's birthday is today so this Krafty man challenge couldn't have been more perfect :)

I hope you have a great Wednesday.  Thank for stopping by today and I'll see you tomorrow!

Good morning!  How are you today?  I was able to make a card for Casual Fridays Challenge this week, click on the link for the details.  It was so much fun this week!  The challenge was to get edgy!  How fun is that?  I actually came up with the idea for this card while I was sitting in traffic.  I probably should have had my mind on the other cars, but summer means road construction on the highway here, which means a longer commute and that equals a mind wandering to crafting.  I can't help myself :)

This card makes me feel all happy and patriotic :)  especially with the upcoming holiday!
We're halfway through the week peeps!  Woo hoo!  Thanks for coming by today and I'll see you tomorrow!

Happy Wednesday folks!  I've been so busy the last couple of weeks with other projects I haven't been able to play along with any challenges.  Until last night!  I was able to whip up a card for the Casual Fridays Challenge!  This week the challenge was...

Here's my take on the challenge:

Ooooohhhh, I had so much fun making this card!  I punched out four squares, two kraft, two black, and alternated them on my white card base.  Then before I adhered them with foam squares, I rounded the corners of the two kraft squares.  I went back and punched out four butterflies, two kraft, two black and placed them on the opposite color square.  To finish it off, I added a little Hero Arts sentiment!

Stamps:  Hero Arts
Ink:  Momento Tuxedo Black
Paper:  PTI Stampers Select White, Hobby Lobby Kraft and Black
Other:  Marvy Uchida square punch, Martha Stewart butterfly punch

Okay I'm out for today!  Have the most pleasant of Wednesdays my friends.  As always, I appreciate you stopping by and I can't express to how much each and every comment means to me.  It puts a smile on my face and a skip in my step!  Ta ta for now!

Happy Tuesday everyone!  I'm playing along with CAS-ual Fridays Challenge this week and it's a fun one, a sketch!

I decided to make a set of 3x3 cards and turn the sketch on its side four times.

Stamps:  Papertrey Ink Tag Its #4
Ink:  CTMH White Daisy
Paper:  Papertrey Ink Hawaiian Shores, Hibiscus Burst, Plum Pudding
Other:  Papertrey Ink Doily Details Dies and Double Ended Banner Dies

Well, that's about it for me today.  I hope you have a fantastic Tuesday!  We've been having a bit of hot, hot weather here.  We spent about an hour at the pool last night before dinner.  Looks like we might be headed that way again today :)  Is it pool weather where you are yet?  Thanks for stopping by today!

Good Tuesday morning to you all!  I have a new card for you today that I made for an awesome challenge!  You can find the details HERE

So here's my attempt at a clean and simple card with a little bling!

This card was super simple to make.  I trimmed my cardstock to size, stamped my Unity Stamp Co. sentiment in Momento ink and then situated my rhinestones!  Love, love, love the way this turned out!  :)

I hope you have a fantastic Tuesday my friends!  Thanks so much for stopping by and I'll chit chat with you later!
