Abie's first 5k!!

Good morning everyone!! Today I wanted to share with you some pictures of our weekend and Abie's first 5k. She was amazing. That kid never gives up :) she took fourth in her age group!!

We drove about three hours away and spent the night in a hotel, with Dirk. He was awesome, such a good little traveler.

I have to say, he really is an awesome dog. He got so much attention while we down there, he loves it when people pet him and love on him and was licking everyone's face :)

Easiest card EVER!

Yay for Friday!!!!! I am so ready for the weekend!! Abie is running her first 5k this weekend!! Super excited about that :)

Today I want to tell you about the easiest card I've ever made. A couple of weeks ago I picked up some more of those $1.50 pre-made card bases at Michaels and I found some cute ones that had a little speech bubble cut out of the middle.  I stamped a little sentiment inside the bubble, rounded my corners and was done!! Soooo easy!!

I can picture this with a little 3-D image or something on a wobble!

Owl themed birthday gift.

Happy hump day!! Good morning to you!! Today I wanted to shared a little gift that we put together for a friend of Landry's. We picked up the Frozen chapter book for her and then grabbed a few other goodies of the owl variety, because she's a fan :)

Dad's birthday card

Good grief I had this ready to post last week and I just didn't get around to it. Sorry about that!!

My dad's birthday was a little over a week ago and I made this card for him. I have a few 6x6 paper pads that are more masculine than my others and I always turn to those for projects like these :)

We had a great weekend here. It was a little more chilly than I would have liked, and we woke up to *just a bit * of snow on Sunday morning.

Gift bag, of the boy variety.

Happy Friday!! Do you have big plans this weekend? We're hoping to house out the garage this weekend. I'm almost finished with my 14 week deep clean of the house! Remember when I posted about that?? Sunday Abie has a tournament, her second to last of the season.

Today I wanted to share with you the gift bag I decorated for my older nephew. He turned 14 this year!!

Boy-ish gift card holder.

Happy middle of the week to you!! How are things? We had a busy weekend, school carnival, joint birthday party, volleyball and enjoying some nice weather. Then we headed right into this week with a little more of the same. More nice weather and more volleyball :)

Tonight Abie has conditioning and tomorrow is another school dance, Friday starts spring break.

Last Saturday we had a joint birthday part for Abie and my two nephews. We picked up a gift card for my youngest nephew and I made this holder for it.  I trimmed card stock to 4x6 and scored at 1 1/2" and 4", rounded the corners and then decorated the outside.

These are my favorite, go to, style thank yous to make. Mostly because they are so quick!!
