2012, my favorite projects, part II.

Happy New Year!  Did you have a good time ringing in the new year or did you about fall asleep, like me?  Haha!

I'm back today with part two of my favorites from last year.  I left off with June so let's start out with the second half of the year.

In July I made this card for Mike and I liked how I spritzed the wood pieces with mist and then sprinkled the card.  I love the look of this, but still don't do it enough (too impatient for drying time, haha!)

In August I made this card for a challenge (and my mom's birthday) and I LOVED everything about it :)

My favorite project for September was the fall banner I made.  It wasn't labor intensive at all, pretty quick and easy, but I just loved the outcome!

In October I bought this super cute stamp at Michael's and had so much fun coloring it with my Bic's and paper piecing (for the first time...) her dress!

For November I picked this birthday card for my Grandma Mary.  I love all the texture on this card!

For December I picked the Christmas tags.  They were simple this year, but still super fun, I think!!

I've never done a post like this, where I look back through my old projects.  It was a lot of fun.  I hope you enjoyed it too.  Thanks for stopping by today, I hope everyone has a fabulous 2013!  I'm excited to see what this year has in store for us :)  See you tomorrow!!

  5. We barely made it past midnight. In fact, we toyed with the idea of celebrating the east coast midnight (only 11 here) and going to sleep! But I wanted to see the fireworks at midnight, so we stayed up.

I love all of these projects! The fall banner is one of my favorites! So is the blue card for your mom's birthday, the colors are great :)
