Good morning :) Tomorrow is my Grandma's birthday. Well, one of my Grandmas. I'm lucky enough to still have both of mine. We're getting together this weekend to celebrate and I made this card to take for her.
I started this card out with that little Melissa Frances cardstock sticker. I picked up a whole sheet of those Friday at my LSS. Aren't they pretty? Anyway, as usual, I picked out my focal point and worked my way backwards.
The whole center piece is popped up with foam tape to give some added dimension.
The little Prima flowers I spritzed with my new Studio Calico Calico Shine spray. Picked that up at my LSS on Friday too. I couldn't believe that had it!!!! I got the last one too!
Quick post for me today. Thanks for stopping by. I hope you have a beautiful day :) See you tomorrow!

ReplyDeleteGrandmas are a treasure and I was blessed to have mine for as long as I did. Lovely card, I'm sure she will adore it!
ReplyDeleteThis card is very pretty. I love the little card on the front. Grandmas really are a treasure, and I am blessed to also have both of mine.
ReplyDeleteLove this card! The Meslissa Francis image is so yummy! Lucky girl to get MF at your LSS (want to buy a vowel?). Happy birthday to your grandma and thanks for sharing!!! -Amanda
ReplyDeleteI love how it looks sort of vintage with the colors you chose. It looks really great! I'm sure your grandma is going to love it.
ReplyDeleteOh, my Grandma would have loved that card so I'm sure yours will too! :) I love the decorative edge and I'm jealous you got the shine spray. Archiver's does not have anything Studio Calico. I was a bit disappointed. But that just gives me an excuse to buy online when I need to. Like I need an excuse...LOL. Happy Tuesday!
ReplyDeleteYour card is gorgeous as always.
ReplyDeleteLove all the layering, and that card sticker.
So nice that you get so see your grandma. I never lived near mine and was lucky to see the one, maybe once every few years.
