Good morning and happy Monday! Did you have a productive weekend? We woke up to a sick little one on Saturday so our plans were slightly derailed. All was well be the afternoon though, must have been a quick 12 hour bug.
On Sunday we went school supply shopping. Yes, I said it, the three dirties words of summer! The girls were so excited though. School starts in just three weeks here so we needed to "beat the rush". Ha!
Today I'm sharing Project Life, Weeks 24-26.
On week 24 I used three scrappy journaling cards and one plain one. I love how the scrappy cards look! Too many arrows though? Ha!
Week 25 I scrappied up my title card but left my journaling cards blank, except for one. What's the deal Becky, get it together!
Week 26, scrappy title card, check. Scrappy journaling cards, check. Three great pictures, WHAT??? This week would have been the silver tuna if I would have just taken a third photo! Doh!
I'll get it together, don't worry :) hahahahahaha!
This will be it for Project Life, for a few weeks. I have to print more photos you know! I have a couple of birthday cards/tags to make this week plus I have some new ideas I've been wanting to try out. Now that we're on a break from volleyball I'm hoping I can fit in a little more crafty time after work.
Hope you have a fantastic Monday! Thanks for stopping by today and I'll see you tomorrow!

ok i have to get busy with my project life again. in june i did 2 months of PL and i said that i wouldn't fall behind again- and guess what- i am now 3 weeks behind-
ReplyDeleteyour looks great!
I've not come across Project Life before, but it looks fun!
ReplyDeleteThanks for your lovely comment. Yes, the blue and yellow make a wonderful rich dark green, don't they. My problem was that the lime green and grass green, while lovely and vibrant, were not dark enough, so I thought I'd add some of my blue and yellow over the top - where I masked it with the leaf pieces, the brighter green still shows through. Colour mixing is really fun. If you mix complimentary colours (opposite each other on the colour wheel - very vibrant if put next to each other, e.g. purple and orange) they cancel each other out and you end up with a dull brown! Very useful. That's definitely something I shall be trying with my ink sprays.
A lot of people spend a lot of money on Prima flowers. Penny Duncan's flower files are so cool and you can save yourself so much, and make them whatever size and colour you want! She has them available in all file types so whatever cutting machine you've got, you should be able to cut them, and also has them available as pdfs to print and cut out by hand if you haven't got a machine. That's how I started.

Becky, you are too funny! I think your PL is fabulous. And I think it is wonderful that you are sticking with it!! :)
ReplyDeleteSorry for the sick kiddo but you were lucky if it was only a 12 hour thing! Love your PL pages. You are really getting in the groove! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry your daughter was sick, but I'm glad it was only a 12 hour bug! We didn't do much of anything this weekend, just laid around my parents' house at the pool and had a lunch at my cousin's house.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to pretend that you didn't say the s-word in any way, shape or form! I am not ready to go back to work!
Your project life is looking wonderful! All of the scrappy journal cards are great. They really make the pages extra special!
oh, you crack me up :) Love your PL!
ReplyDeleteWhat a bummer you are, your making summer sound like its coming to an end....mind you I love school supplies, so can totally understand why your girls were so excited ;)
ReplyDeleteAs for your PL pages, they are awesome as usual. If you jazz them up or leave them a bit plain, you pages are always a pleasure to look at.
Thank you so much for the birthday wishes. You described a perfect day together :) Hoping one day we will get to meet :)
So sad that summer is coming to an end. We only have two weeks left :( Love your PL pages and your handwriting is great! Thanks for sharing...
ReplyDeleteI am so excited to find that you are doing PL! I have been admiring Katie's for weeks and so want to do this, but I am scared to invest not knowing whether I will be able to keep up with it. Yours is wonderful though....keep up the great work!
