Happy Monday!!! Did you have a good weekend? Ours flew by and I wish I had one extra day :) Mike had to work on Saturday, a rare occurrence for him, but I think that's part of the reason why the weekend felt like it went by so fast!
The girls and I did some shopping Saturday morning and I ran across a spice rack that I had heard about on Two Peas. I was SO excited, because the original poster said she found hers at TJ Maxx, but when I checked there, they didn't have them. I found mine at Gordman's for $9.99!!!
This is a picture of the spice rack from the side.
The two sides pull out...
And swivel. I'm not sure if I'll be using the swivel feature very much or not, but it's kind of cool :) This spice rack will hold about 52 rolls of washi tape. The only tapes that didn't fit width ways were the SMASH tapes. Now I just have to figure out where I'm going to put this thing. Haha!
I saw this really cool idea on Two Peas too! Washi feathers! I cut off a piece of wire and taped my washi on both sides. Then trimmed it so it was feather shaped. The last thing was to cut slits up each side to make it look feathery :) So easy and cute! I'm interested to see how this looks on a project, before I make more!
Do you ever get ideas from websites like Two Peas that you try out? I love to get inspiration and ideas from other places :)
Thanks for stopping by to see me today and I hope you have the most beautiful of Monday's! I'll be back tomorrow with...something. See you then!

Flags!!
Friday flags! Haha! I finished up my flags the other night and I love how they turned out!
Here they are, all tucked in my bowl of confetti. I think they look so cute here!
Here's a close up of one of my flags. I used THIS DIE to cut out the shapes and then put just a bit of adhesive on one end. I rolled the sticky end around the toothpick and voila, instant flag embellishment!
Finally, here's a little Valentine card I made with one of the flags as an added embellie. I used some of my new MME paper too :)
I had a fun little box arrive in the mail this week so I'm hoping to play with it this weekend. What are you up to? Whatever it is, I hope you have a great time doing it! See you soon and thank you for coming by today.

Getting a wee bit of a head start...
On my Christmas tags. (I know Tracy, it's before December, and I'm sorry about that. Ha!)
I've been wanting to make some faux corrugated Kraft embellishments for awhile now. Several months ago Dawn McVey did THIS POST and I thought, "ooohhh, love! I'm so going to do that!" I even wrote it down on my to do list. But weeks passed and I never got to it. Fast forward to October and THIS POST over at Just Jingle and I fell in love AGAIN! I suddenly remembered my little Kraft embellishments I wanted to make! Jingle even inspired Mary Pat with THIS CARD SET. So much inspiration going on, I don't know what to do with myself!
When I first thought about working on these I was going to make simple shapes like butterflies, clouds, swirls, etc. But since I'm a procrastinator and it's now MONTHS later and we're quickly approaching Christmas, I thought I would get a jump start on my Christmas tags.
Here's my weapon :)
I used my Doodlecharms and Christmas Cheer cartridge with my Cricut and cut out multiple Christmasy shapes at 2". I used the SHADOW and BLACKOUT features. Look at those reindeer. Now you tell me, isn't the corrugated one MUCH cuter? I LOVE him!!! :)
And how about these cuties? Too much. I can't wait to make some fun tags to put these on.
And a few more for good measure.
Have a wonderful Thursday and I'll see you tomorrow! Thanks for popping by today!

Shiny Hearts!
So the other day Kristina Werner posted on Twitter that she was making glittery, glossy accented embellishments. She didn't post a picture, I'm assuming she made a card for her Christmas series she's working on right now, but the image of glittery, glossy accented embellishments immediately came to mind! Doesn't that just paint a happy little picture?
I got to work over the weekend and tried my hand at some glittery embellishments. Step 1: cut out cardstock shape from die Step 2: put adhesive on cardstock shape Step 3: cover cardstock shape with Glossy Accents Step 4: let dry Step 5: be slightly disappointed because glitter doesn't show through Glossy Accents as much as you thought it would.
It's very shiny and very pretty, just not as glittery as I was expecting. I still LIKE it A LOT though! :)
I made three of these and here's the card I made with one of them:
Do you see what is in the background there??? My pattern paper from the other day :) I layered on a few bits and pieces from my scrap basket and stuck in a couple of stick pins before adding my sentiment. Loving this happy little card.
I hope you have a fantastic Wednesday! Thanks for coming by today and I'll see you tomorrow!

Glittery goodness!
Happy November!!!! Good grief, I can't believe I'm saying that, can you? We're still having really nice weather here right now and I'm so grateful for that. Especially after all the people that got snow dumped on them over the weekend. The only down side to the nice weather is that it's not very conducive to crafting :)
A few weeks ago I saw Dawn McVey make THESE flowers and I thought they were really pretty. Well, you know I'm a frugal kind of a gal and rather than spend $15 on a stamp set and another $8 on a set of dies (which isn't bad by any means) I got to thinking about the dies I already had on hand. Within 10 minutes I made these:
I used my Tim Holtz flower die and traced around the edge with a glue pen, shook on some Martha Stewart glitter and attached all the layers with a brad. To cover up the brad, I stuck on a glue dot and added a pearl or rhinestone. I really love the pink one, I wish the glitter was showing up better in the picture :)
I'm outta here for today. Hope you have a fantastic Tuesday! Thanks for stopping by and I'll be back tomorrow with another fun embellishment I whipped up!

A mini Halloween card and an embellishment.
I am thrilled that it's Friday! How about you? Fall is definitely in the air here with cool nights and 70 degree days. The weather couldn't be more perfect!
On Tuesday night, when I was playing around with my Halloween stuff, I made a couple of embellishments out of the Martha Stewart tags that I told you about yesterday. One of them looked kind of plain by itself, but still cute (weird, I know) so I turned it into a mini card.
Here's the mini card. I punched out a circle of patterned paper and then stamped a black cat from my Hero Arts Halloween stamp set in the middle. Then I just centered the whole piece on a 3x3 white card base. See what I mean by being plain, but still cute? I think it turned out great as a mini card!
Here's the little embellishment I made. This one just has a couple of layered strips, one with the sentiment and then I stamped my image on patterned paper and popped it up with some pop dots.
Here's the money shot, as Tracy would say :)
Do you have a fun weekend planned or are you relaxing? Mike and I are going on a Poker Run tomorrow. We'll be on the motorcycle all day and I'm super excited about it!!!! Mom is going to watch the girls for us :) :) :) then that night we have a barbecue at the neighbors. Sunday we're going to relax a bit, laundry and football.
I hope you have a GREAT Friday and a fabulous weekend!!!! Thanks for coming by today!
