Grateful mini book.

Happy Friday!  First Friday of 2014.  Big plans for you tonight?  Not here.  Abie's first tournament of the season is tomorrow and we have to be up early for that, so it will be an early night for us tonight :)

Today I wanted to share with you the finished mini book I made from our grateful project in November.  Remember THIS POST?  Well I took after we filled them up, I took the baggies and turned them into this:

A very simple little mini book, filled with a months worth of statements about what each of us is grateful for.  I. love. this.

I punched holes in each of the envelopes, and then measured and cut a cardstock front and back cover.

Look at how much we have to be grateful for!!  Makes me so happy :)

Here's another pic of the cover.

And here's a look at my process.  Whenever I start a project, I go shopping in my stash.  I pull out everything that "might" look good and pile it on my table.  Then I get to work :)  How do you work?

Thanks for stopping by today.  I hope you have a great Friday and a wonderful weekend!  See you soon!

P.S.  my blog header is GONE!  Does anyone know what's up with this?

  1. looks amazing! we have a snow day here! so I am grateful to be hanging with my boys!! I think when they are playing their games I am going to get some scrappy fun in- I have a DT card to make!!
    have a great weekend

  2. What a "grate" book! This is a wonderful tradition to have with your family. We are snowed in today and I'm kind of grateful for that. Good luck at the tournament tomorrow...those things are usually long!! I really need to un-decorate this weekend!

  3. I loved this idea when you shared it, I love it even more now that it is all in a mini book.
    Awesome Idea Becky!!
As for your header…if you got it from a site, maybe they discontinued it. They did that to me, but I saved it on my computer and Ashely actually designed the lettering

  4. This turned out so cute and what a great keepsake to have for years to come! I am finally catching up from a two week break from blog reading....yikes, I have missed everyone!!!!!!

  5. Oh my gosh! I love this!!! The mini book with the envelopes is just too perfect!

Also, I'm glad to see that your header is back now :)

  6. That turned out so cute!!
And your blog header is definitely back!

    1. Oh you were asking about the Lists with Friends. It is so casual because Elizabeth wanted to make it as easy as possible for people to participate. I would say it's more like a free for all. I plan on posting my lists on Fridays to keep it consistent. And you just post whatever type of list you want. Some people did a list of what they are going to make lists about for their first list (lol). There were several book and music lists. Project lists. People took photos of their lists or did picture lists. I am going to do a blog list somewhere with their blogs so people can refer to them. Does that all make sense?
      Oh and stay warm!!!!
