Another masculine card.

Yay for weekend eve!!  Happy Thursday to everyone!  We've made it to the end-ish part of the week, woo hoo!

Today I'm sharing another masculine card, which is really more a boy card because it was for my 8 year old nephew and masculine seems so much more grown up of a word :)

This Simple Stories line has a lot of papers that are collage sheets, made of of squares that aren't quite journaling cards, but can't be used as full sheets either.  So I trimmed a few pieces out and haphazardly strung them across the front of the card.  Voila!  I loved it, after popping a couple up with some foam tape :)

Abie is helping out with kindergarten registration tonight at the school.  I can hardly believe it's her last year in elementary school and that a year ago we were there enrolling Landry for kindergarten! (excuse me while I shed some tears... okay I'm back)  I think Landry and I will run to the grocery store before we pick Abie up tonight and then maybe play outside for awhile.  We're starting to have a few nice days here and there :)

I hope you have a wonderful Thursday and thank you for coming by today.  I'll see you tomorrow!!

  2. Very fun card. I now they grow up way too fast my baby will be in 2nd grade next year. It feels like I just put her ones the bus for kindergarten.

  4. Love this! Love how the paper works for the words too, so you didn't have to use alphabet stickers. Very clever.

Don't kids grow up so fast? I was telling my husband I need to invent some sort of button to slow down time. Mine is going to be in 2nd grade. *boo* I feel like he was born just a few days ago. It's crazy!

  5. Love how this turned out! It's perfect for a boy and it does not take long for "masculine" to apply to the younger boys. They just grow up too fast! :)
