Good morning. I hope you had a great weekend. Today I want to share with you the Veteran's Day card I made for my dad.
I went back and forth with that panel, trying to decide if I should add more to it before I just decided to leave it plain and simply added the sentiment. I'm happy with the results.
I'm headed down to the girl's school this morning, for the third time (first time was to drop her off for choir practice, second time was to drop Landry off for school) for the Veteran's Day Program. Mom and Dad will be coming, which I'm thrilled about!!! Abie has a solo performance, which I'm nervous about :) I know she'll do fine, but I'm still nervous. Tonight is Abie's last rec volleyball game before she starts club volleyball next week. I'm really looking forward to a peaceful, un-busy (is that a word) week!!! Thanks for stopping by today and I'll see you all here tomorrow!!

this is just perfect!
ReplyDeleteLove it! Perfect simplicity for your Dad. Hope all goes well with the program today. Sounds like a cool event! :)
ReplyDeleteGreat card! I think the border stamps are perfect. So exciting --Abie's solo. I am sure she will do great. Can't wait to hear about it tomorrow. I was the same way with instagram but once you start taking pictures, it kind of becomes an obsession! I am seriously looking for things to take pictures of now. I may just be a real scrapbooker after all. :)
ReplyDeleteUnderstated, but perfect....I am sure your dad will love it. And go Abie - I am sure she will do wonderfully!
ReplyDeleteThis is a great card!
ReplyDeleteI hope Abie's solo went well! That is so cool that she had a solo and your parents were going to see her too!
Enjoy your unbusy week :)

ReplyDeleteGlad you have a un-busy week...I think thats a word even thought spell check doesn't think so ;)
Good luck to Abie tonight..I am sure she will do perfectly :)
Great CAS card. Sometimes less is more, and those rows of stars are so perfect here.
