Morning everyone! It's been a busy one around here. After working late three days in a row last week, which never happens with my job, thankfully, I was just exhausted! Then on Saturday we ran around and got some last minute things for school this week.
On Sunday we all got up early and headed downtown to do the Susan G. Komen Race with my cousin and the rest of my family. If you remember last year we did this race, shortly after my cousin was diagnosed with breast cancer. She's made it through chemotherapy and a double mastectomy and is now having Herceptin injections every three weeks until the end of December.
This year she wore the pink Survivor's t-shirt and was able to walk the 3.1 miles instead of just the 1 mile like last year. Crazy how things can change in a year, isn't it?
It's so cool to be a part of this and see all the people participating in this event.
Here's Abie at the finish line and to the left there are my parents! My Dad pushed Landry in the stroller for the whole race! Thanks Dad!!
Mike ran first, 20 minutes and 31 seconds, man he's fast, and then met up with us and walked :) It was a great day!
Thanks for stopping by today, sorry about the non-crafty post :) Hope you have a beautiful day and I'll see you tomorrow.
