Adding a little more stuff to my jouronaling cards.

Morning everyone!  Hope you had a great day yesterday, if you were celebrating.  We had a fantastic day with family and friends.  At one point, I just sat and took a moment to look around at all the people that were with us and and saw how much fun they were having and was truly grateful that they had chosen to spend the day with us.  It meant so much to Mike and I :)

Today I want to share with you my Project Life journaling cards.  A few weeks ago I posted THESE journaling cards that I made.  I really liked them, but you know I've been trying to amp up my Project Life a little bit.  So when I saw THIS POST and THIS POST I got a little bit excited!  I knew this might be the way I could kick it up a notch with my Project Life.

I took out the journaling cards that I made before and all my scrap papers, punches, washi tape and of course my Tim Holtz tiny attacher and got to work.

These are just a start.  All the supplies are still out on my desk, I had a party to get to after :).  My picture order should be here today and I'm really hoping these amped up journaling cards add just the right amount of oomph to my Project Life that I've been looking for!

The girls and I are home until Monday so I'll be taking the day off from blogging tomorrow.  We're hoping to swim today and maybe see Brave tomorrow.  I hope you have a wonderful Thursday, fabulous Friday and a beautiful weekend!  Thanks so much for visiting today and I'll see you soon!!

  1. too fun! I am impressed that you are doing all this--i am just barely doing the minimum. I am still interested in it but i am doing just your basic kit now. love this!!

  2. Love these Becky! I love how versatile PL is and how these journaling cards are perfect for scrap paper, stamps and all the little goodies we find along the way! Your cards are so cute!

  3. Fabulous cards, Becky!
I love the extra added touches :)
Have a great day off tomorrow and enjoy.
Would love a review of Brave as well.
Thinking of taking the kids to this :)

  4. I love the journaling cards you made! They are fabulous! I just raided Michael's $1 section for tons of project life stamps (I'm going to share them on Monday!) They had so much stuff, I wasn't even looking for anything, but when I found it, I was so excited!!

I hope you and the girls have a wonderful weekend!

  5. Your day off sound like a perfect day to me, your daughters, swimming (in a warm pool) and a movie :)
Went to Brave last night....bring a tissue ;)

  6. Enjoy your days off. We went to see Brave - really thought it was a good movie

  7. My favorite thing about my album last year was doing exactly this - taking all my scraps and kicking up the blank cards a few notches. It feels sooo good to use up stuff in a meaningful way. I love what you are doing and how you are adding your stamps. Very cool! :)
