3x3s

Hi there!  I'm excited because I was able to put my new goodies to use.  The first thing I did was start a new stash of 3x3 cards for next school year.  Landry will be starting Kindergarten and with two in school that means two lunches and the need for lots of 3x3 cards for those lunches!

This one I punched a circle on the front of the card so the felt piece would show through.  I added some faux stitching with a white gel pen and on the inside of the card I adhered my felt piece and stamped my sentiment.

This one couldn't get any easier!  A added some coordinating washi tape and then adhered my felt piece!  To finish it off, I stamped my sentiment on the inside.

If I can keep these up, I'll have a nice little stack by the time school starts and then I won't be rushing downstairs the night before to make a card to throw in a lunch!  Ha!

Do you have big plans for your Thursday?  Mike is out of town, so it's girls night again.  Maybe we'll hit the pool.  Whatever we do, I know I'll be glad to see his face tomorrow!  Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful weekend eve!!

  4. I love these 3x3 cards! My mom always put notes in our lunches too, and I can't wait to do that for my kids one day. That's such a great idea to make a bunch now so you don't have to run and do it the night before!

Have a great girls night tonight! We don't have a lot of plans, AJ is off today and its rainy, so no beach for us! We were going to go out to eat, but we overslept so now we are cleaning :(

  6. Great idea to have lots on hand.
I love that idea of leaving sweet notes in their lunches.
I have done that when my girls were young, but I wasn't as committed as you, I was lucky if I put one in once a month, lol.
I have 3 daughters hows that for an excuse??? Does it pass, lol.
