Typewritten Tag!

Good morning everyone!  Did you have a wonderful weekend?  We celebrated five birthdays this weekend!  I only need cards/tags for three of them though (one of the birthdays was mine and one was Abie's)

I had a gift bag for my dad's gift and I used October Afternoon papers for the tag...

Instead of writing the to and from, I used my "new to me" typewriter!  I really only had one shot at getting it centered, but I figured if it looked to off, I would just add some sort of embellishment.  Haha!  I love how the old font goes with this old timey paper!

We spent the majority of our weekend outside.  It was beautiful here!  They're calling for rain most of the week, which I'm grateful for.  A) because we can use it to green up the grass and B) I really, REALLY need to clean up my craft area!  It's a disaster area down there!

I hope you have a GREAT Monday and thank you so much for stopping by today.  I really appreciate you sticking with me through my ho hum Project Life week last week.  I know that it's not every one's cup of tea, but I still wanted to share it with you :)  See you all tomorrow!

  1. sounds like a wonderful weekend! and your typewriter is just too fun!!

i am hoping for some rain too so that I can get some work done! LOL!! and i love seeing your project life--no hohum for me!!

  2. Happy Birthday Becky! Love this tag a lot and love the typewriter sentiment! I am starting to think I should look into a getting a are such an enabler! ;)

  3. I love the typewritten tag! It sounds like you had a wonderful weekend, especially being able to stay outside all weekend, isn't that just so great in March?! I hope we get some rain too, it may break this crazy humidity we are having! Only no rain until after I get home from having my taxes done - I have to walk there, and I don't want to get all wet walking home!

  4. Great tag! The typewriter writing is perfect :o) We are expecting some rain here as well. Jeremy spent most of the weekend getting the yard ready, it will green up in no time :o) Hugs!
