It's Wednesday and I'm sharing what I have on my workdesk today, along with all the other workdeskers over at Julia's Blog!
I picked up a $1.50 stamp at Michaels and am working on some place cards for Thanksgiving. This is all the farther I got a) before dinner was ready and b) before I got stumped and didn't know what to do from here :) I'm thinking I'll write each persons name across the middle in script, but, while I like my handwriting, I don't trust it enough to do 10 place cards. Know what I mean? I'm going to have to think on this a bit... I'm really digging this stamp though! Might have to think of other food themed cards I can make :)
Okay folks, I'm out of here for today. Enjoy your Wednesday to its fullest! I'll see you tomorrow and thank you so much for coming by to see me today!

oh this looks great
ReplyDeleteI have this stamp and love it! Maybe you can print each name in script on copy paper, then attach the ards over the top of each, and run them back through the printer.
ReplyDeleteSorry, cards.
ReplyDeleteYour desk is so clean. :)
ReplyDeleteI was thinking along the same lines as Danielle-could you print names in script and attach to the stamped images? Maybe even print on a very lightly patterned paper?
thanks for sharing i'm getting ready to make three freindship cards.. hope all is well...
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see these finished! I'm already loving the concept!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute stamp!!!
ReplyDeleteThose are going to be great place cards :)
Actually, your handwriting will be fine - no-one will worry about it! I like the stamp you've used very much, it's great fun!!
ReplyDeleteHugs, LLJ xx
I love these for place cards!
ReplyDeleteMy best friend asked me to write out the place cards for her wedding. The night before her wedding. In her hotel room, at the desk, as three of us giggled our way through talking about the silly things we did in college and that she was actually for real getting married in the morning. And no one knew the difference.
So, moral of my story - go ahead and write them out!
What a cool stamp!!! :)
ReplyDeleteVery cute, script writing would be really cool across the middle :0) Hugs!
ReplyDeleteLook like a great stamp for place cards, have a great week.

ReplyDeleteCute start, I like that stamp. Very impressed that you are preparing for Thanksgiving already!
ReplyDeleteI think I may have that stamp...I can't remember, teehee.
ReplyDeleteSeriously Becky mess up your desk, lol.
Looking forward to seeing how you are going to put the names on, So far very nice :)
You could print the names from the computer on to vellum, heat emboss them and attach each one with brads over the top.
ReplyDeleteMaggie and I were on similar thought waves, I was going to suggest vellum attached with a swanky ribbon...whatever you do, keep doing, they look great - you're right about the stamp, love it.
ReplyDeleteAwesome works.Keep posting!!
