So I tried something new...

and it didn't quite work out the way I planned.  Does that ever happen to you?  I saw THIS AMAZING and way cool idea awhile back and I wanted to try it out for myself.  I already had the large manila tags and I picked up the smaller ones at Joann's.  Why Joann's, cuz Staples wanted an arm and a leg for theirs, that's why!  They must be really, REALLY proud of their small manila tags ;)

Basically, you just ink up your stamp and stamp three times without re-inking.  Doesn't get much easier than that, right?

These are the smaller tags and they were a bit trickier, but only because I used a solid stamp.  (See picture below)

Check out this ugly puppy!  Yikes!  I had a really hard time when I would stamp off the tag and then re-stamp back on the tag it would leave lines with this solid stamp.  Not so much with the bigger stamp since it had a big pattern in it.  Make sense or am I blabbering?  :)

Did you have a good Monday yesterday?  I was swamped at work and I worked late last night.  I was happy to get home to my family!  Glad that it's Tuesday, I know that.  We're having another little heat wave.  I'm hoping I can get the girls to the pool this week, you know it could turn off and be freezing tomorrow.  Haha!  I hope you have a wonderful day and I'll see you back here tomorrow :)  Thank you so much for coming by to see me today!

  9. It's a really cute idea, Becky! And the blue one on top looks perfect to me.
Truthfully I always find stamping tricky. That's why I don't rely on it as much as I would like, too :)

  12. I think they turned out real pretty.
Not to sound like an expert, but I think it was beause the stamp was to big. The lines are from when the stamp hit the edge of the tag and more ink was on the off part of the stamp.
I think I made that more confusing then it needed to be.
If you don't like it, ink around the edges, that makes everything better :)
