Polka Dot smell goods :)

Well, my mild temps last week were short lived.  We're in for a huge snow storm today and are under a blizzard warning.  They're calling for 10-13" of snow in our area and up to 17" about two hours east of here.  This storm is supposed to have 20 to 40 mile per hour winds and cause 6 to 10 foot snow drifts in some areas.  I'm so excited I can hardly stand it.  ( is the sarcasm in my voice coming through?)  It's official, if it wasn't before, I'm done with winter, done with snow, done with salt, sand, cold, wind, drizzle, ice, pot holes and most of all shoveling!  I'm ready for spring!  I'm ready for birds chirping, flowers blooming, the sun shining, the smell of fresh cut grass and being able to wear short sleeves again :)

All right, enough about the weather.  Abie's slumber party is quickly approaching.  I have picked up a bunch of stuff for goodie baskets for the girls and I thought some of it would look much cuter if I dressed it up a bit with paper and stamps.  :)

I started with this:
I bought these at Walmart the week after Christmas.  They were originally $5 and I got them for $1.25, score!

I decided to dress the bottles up a bit...
I used Core'dinations paper in lime green and aqua and then stamped polka dots from PTI's Polka Dot Basics II set in Versamagic Key Lime and PTI Hawaiian Shores ink.  Then I cut out some tags on my Cricut and attached with some Martha Stuart baker's twine.  I think these look much better and they match the colors of her party too!

Well, I hope you're warm and safe, wherever you may be.  Have a great Tuesday and I'll chat with you later.  Thanks for stopping in today!

  8. Ohh these are so cute. I would say huge Score on the price. Those goodie bags could get pricey.
So glad you didn't pee or OH crap your pants watching my video, lol.
I'm safe but not warm. I am so ready for spring, tired of my jeans having a salt stain around the cuffs.
