Thinking of You

Well lookie here, Thursday already!  Who else is excited about that?  So Mike gets an e-mail from his boss a couple of days ago that he and the other District Manager can throw a Christmas party, on the company's dime.  Mike takes a vote and the guys want to have food brought in and do this shindig at someones house, as opposed to going out to a restaurant.  Guess whose house?  :-) The only thing I really have to do is have the house clean.  I don't have to cook, just hostess.  It was just a little short notice.  Because of this added party, I'm in overdrive this week, trying to get everything done for next week since I really won't have next weekend to tie up my loose ends like I thought I would.  I'm doing pretty good, I've got two towels left to embroider and just two other projects to finish up.  Then there's the wrapping.  That's the part I'm not so fond of.  I'm going to try and get it done this weekend...ALL OF IT!

On to my craftiness today.  I needed a thinking of you card last week, something quick.  So I flipped through my inspiration pages and this is what I came up with.
I stamped the flowers with a watermark pad and then heat embossed them with clear powder.  Every time I do this I think, "this is so cool, why don't I do this more?"

Alright, I'm off to check more things off my list for the day!  Thanks for stopping by.  I really appreciate all the comments.  I'm so grateful for each and every one of them, you guys are truly the best!

  3. Very pretty! I think I need to pick up a watermark pad. I love how the images look when they are the same color. I am getting so addicted to stamping. :) Good luck with your party!
