Happy Monday!! Did you have a good weekend? We celebrated my new job Friday night, woot woot !! Them on Saturday we volunteered at the Ronald McDonald House, by fixing a meal. Mike is running on their team again for the Chicago Marathon and so he and some of his co- workers, and their families, got together and worked at the house Saturday. We had such a great time!! On Sunday, we got a few things done around the house, did some school shopping, almost a week until they start here, and some much needed relaxation!!
Today I'm sharing week 30 of my Project Life. This was the week we were on vacation. I picked out three photos from our trip, and the rest I will include in a separate album. How do you incorporate vacations into your scrapbooking? Do you do separate albums?
That's it for me today. I'm headed off to work in a few. My first FULL week at the new job. Still in training for the next two and a half weeks, lots to learn with this insurance stuff, but so far so good!!
Thanks for stopping by and I'll see you in a couple of days!!
Your PLlooksawesome!
ReplyDeleteGlad you are so excited about your new job! Hope you have an awesome week!
Looks great!! Vacation photos are always fun! I can't believe the girls are starting school already! I'm still in summer mode!
ReplyDeleteYour page looks great!!
ReplyDeleteSo excited for you with your new job :)
As for vacations…we just usually have a weekend get away, But we have gone on 2 major trips and I did a separate album. But for our weekend trips, I would just add a photo or photo collage :)
First off, congratulations on the new job! I checked out your post below and it sounds like a great move for you! Good luck with your first full week :)
ReplyDeleteSecond, great PL page!
I tend to scrap vacation photos a lot of different ways.
I am going to put a few photos in my Summer PL just to give a good idea of what the trip was like.
Then I like to do individual travel albums, but will sometimes scrap regular pages with the extra photos or photos I really like that tell a story.
Great page! I always have a separate album for vacations. I include a layout or two in my yearly albums but the entire trip gets its own book.
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear about your job! It's so exciting to learn something new.
Every time I see you and Katie's PL spreads it makes me want to try PL. I have a kit, just haven't been able to be consistent. Love that you have been able to do this for so long!
ReplyDeleteThinking about you at the new job this week!
