A couple of new stamps.

Friday, woot woot!  I really felt like yesterday should have been Friday and was so disappointed when it wasn't.  Really bummed when that happens.  But today actually is Friday and I'm so happy about that!

Today I'm going to share a couple of new stamps that I picked up recently and that I'm working with right now.

The one on the left I picked up made me think of Tracy :)  She can do the most amazing things with Copics.  What do you think Tracy?  I don't have Copics, I'm just working on this one with my Bics, but I still love it.  The other stamp, on the right is this awesome peacock feather that I saw on Stephanie Howell's blog a couple of weeks ago.  I also bought some cool new embossing powder.  After I stamped and embossed the image I thought, hmm now what am I going to do with it?  It's not really something I can cut out.  I'm going to have to work with this stamp a little bit more.

So Mike and I are going out tonight!!  We have found ourselves an awesome girl to watch our girls and it's, well, awesome!  Tomorrow is homecoming for the town we live in and the girls have the option to walk in the parade for the school, so we might do that or just go to the parade.  Then Abie has a birthday party and Mike and I have something fun planned for Landry, just the three of us.  What are your plans this weekend?

Thanks for stopping by today.  I hope you have a great Friday and a wonderful weekend!  See you soon!!

  4. I love the stamps! You are right about one stamp, it did remind me of Tracy! I love your Bic coloring, I love to color with my Bics :)

Have a great date night with Mike! That is awesome!!

The homecoming parade sounds really fun, its cool that the girls can walk in it if they want to.

Tonight AJ and I are going ring shopping! Then the next few days we have plans with friends (one double date, and then another girl's birthday celebration). I wish we didn't have as many plans, I have lots of errands and things to get done, but it will be fun!

She will be fun for you to color :o) Not sure what I would do with that peacock feather either :o) Sounds like a really fun weekend, we have a family farewell bbq on Saturday and that is about it. 8. Great stamps. That peacock would be great to stamp over and over for a background. Maybe in iridescent ink.

  10. You are to funny Becky, I think you know me better than I know myself. I had that stamp in my hand, but took a steampunk girl instead, lol.
I was trying to limit myself to one stamp...but you know I still have the GC from hubby I got for my birthday, teehee.
Your colouring is great! Hey I started with Sharpies and Bics and as you can see with your image, they colour very nicely as well.
