Finished project! Yah!!!!!!

Is there nothing better than a finished project?  Oh my goodness, I feel so good about getting these little stuffed envelopes done, I can't even tell you!

I bought 5 1/2x5 1/2 white envelopes at Hobby Lobby last week, 1/2 off :), and trimmed a piece of patterned Halloween paper to 1 1/4 x 5 1/2" and adhered it right to the front of the envelope.

I trimmed out circles with my Cricut at 2" and ran them through my Cuttlebug with an embossing folder.  Then I layered on a Kraft flag and a cute Halloween brad.  The brads I picked up at Hobby Lobby also, 40% off :)

I stuffed the bags with two mini Kit Kats each and punched a hole in the corner.

Then I sealed the envelopes and tied the tags on with black and orange tulle.  Sidenote here, I've decided I LOVE black tulle!  :)

What projects have you guys finished up lately?  Are you working on anything fun?  I hope you enjoy your Wednesday.  It's going to be chilly here so Mike is fixing soup for dinner :)  I'm headed up to the school to help out with Abie's fall party preparations.  Thanks for coming by today and I'll see you back here tomorrow!

  2. These are so cute! I love how the brad matches the paper strip!

AJ's friends are coming to stay tomorrow. They're sleeping in the living room/scrap room/dining room (well, its the only other room besides our bedroom in our apartment!) so no crafting for me this weekend. I had to put away my desk/folding table, otherwise they'd have no where to put their stuff!

  4. These are adorable! What a great idea. Love all the variations. I have done nothing crafty this week. It's all crammed into the weekend. But I have been online looking at fun ideas so now I'll have some good inspiration to get my craft on this weekend! :)

  5. Another awesome project Becky, these are so cool. Knowing there is chocolate in them doesn't hurt either ;)
I have yet to find 6x6 or 5.5x5.5 sized envelopes. I have to buy the big ones and then cut them down.
