Baby Boy Tag

Good morning!  Did you have a nice weekend?  We had beautiful weather on Saturday and spent the late afternoon and evening outside with the neighbors.  It was a great night.  Then on Sunday the weather changed and we had way cool temps and rain in the morning.  I'm not complaining, remember my plan for the weekend?  To be craftily productive?  Well, I was!

One of our neighbors had her THIRD boy on Friday and I whipped up this tag for the gift bag.



I know this may not look like your typical baby boy tag or card, but this is Stacee's third boy and I thought she might like something a bit different :)  I cut a tag out with my Cricut and then used it to trace around the image in my vintage children's book.  Then I cut out the vintage image and adhered it to the tag for added stability.  Then I just embellished away!  Loving the way this turned out :)

    Great idea to use a vintage children's book. I need to hunt for stuff like that at flea markets. Very cool and I'm sure the new Mom (three boys???? Oh, she's gonna be busy) will love it. Pouring rain here today. Sigh. Seriously, will the sun ever shine on this part of the country?????? Have a good Monday!
