Happy Birthday Abie!

Nine years ago today I became a mom.  I was 25 and had no idea what I was getting into.  I remember when Mike and I got home from the hospital, I was sitting on the couch and Abie was in the bouncy seat on the floor.  I just looked at her and thought, "what the hell am I supposed to do now?"  Somehow we figured it all out, you just know and surprisingly, babies and kids are pretty reisilient.  I mean you can hardly even see that bump on her head anymore!  (just kidding) 

Abie is smart, funny, a friend to everyone, crafty and beautiful inside and out.  I love this girl of mine and am so lucky to have her, for as long as I can.

You might know by now that Abie LOVES green and aqua, but I'm a bit tired of that color combo.  So for her gift I used the green but I added a bit of hot pink to it.  The ink is PTI's Raspberry Fizz but the felt is from Joann's.



I hope Abie can forgive the pink :) 

We're expecting a bit of icky weather today.  Some sort of winter mix.  Whatever, it's spring in my head so I'm just going to ignore it.  Haha!  I hope it's spring in your head too!  Thanks for coming by today!

    Happy birthday to Abie! I love your tag - the colors are great. It was another grey, rainy day here so I zeroed right in on the bright colors. Oh spring, where are you???? :)

    Happy Birthday to Abie, she is a sweetheart, thats for sure.
    Love your colours. Once she opens the gift she will forget the pink anyway, teehee.
    My middle daughter is NOT a pink girl either, hates that colour.

    What a cute idea!! Hi...I just joined your blog. I stumbled upon you through youtube. I used to scrapbook alot when I was younger but then I had kids and got married. My son is 5 and my daughter is 3 and they are a handful but they are finally at an age where I can start doing what I love again and my son started kindergarten so I finally have been able to make some stuff for his class. Mainly I have been baking but I have always truly loved papercrafting. Anyways I just got a cricut and absolutely love it! Did you use a cricut for this project? If so what cartridge? Awesome blog. Keep up the good work.
