Fun and Easy Planner!

Wow, it's already Wednesday, can you believe how fast this year is flying by?  Haha!  Awhile back I saw on Michelle Wooderson's blog where she took a cheap planner, similar to this one, and altered it a bit.  Back in November I was at Big Lot's and picked this up for just a $1.50.  It measures about 7.5 x 10.5 and was so fun to alter!  I wish I would have picked up more of them!
Here's the planner, plain, out of the clear plastic protective cover.
I measured my paper and adhered it to the two covers, leaving the binding open...  Do you see Fiona back there?   Landry was playing nearby and brought her over to me :-)

I cut a piece of paper, big enough to wrap around the binding...
And put a couple of strips of scor tape down each side, as close to the edges as I could get it.
Then I adhered the back of the binding on first and wrapped it around to the front!  This way, it gives me plenty of room to open and close my planner without tearing the binding.
To finish off the front, I did a bit of stamping, and then some more stamping!
I love how this turned out, and it makes me happy every time I look at it!  I love to alter little notebooks and things like this that are inexpensive and look like a million bucks (figure of speech, I know it really doesn't look like a million bucks ha) when you're done!

What's going on for your Wednesday?  I'm preparing for February activities.  Abie's birthday is the 24th and I'm gathering all my supplies to make the paper goodies for that.  Hope you're all doing fantastic!  Thanks for popping over and I'll chat with you later lovies!
