Monday, Monday

Ah, Monday.  Last week I was so looking forward to our long Thanksgiving break, but I have to tell you I'm rather glad to get back to our normal routine.  There's just something comforting about our little routine around here.  Over the weekend, Mike and I ran off to St. Louis for a post anniversary getaway.  Mom and dad watched the girls for us and we had a fabulous time.  I feel refreshed, rejuvenated and ready for the holidays!  I still have a bit of shopping left to get done, just some odds and ends to pick up and of course my wrapping.  But I'm feeling good about it all.

Over the years, I've found that it's easier for me if I wrap every one's gifts in the same paper.  It looks really cool under the tree and it's just easier to buy all the same paper.  Last year I wrapped the girls presents in Kraft paper and made these tags to attach to the boxes.  So that brings us to this years tags...
I embossed the background of the tags with various embossing folders and then stamped over them with my Stamper's Anonymous Tim Holtz Christmas Stamps.  Some of the stamping showed up better on certain embossed backgrounds, wish I would have thought that out beforehand...  I'm still pleased with the result though!

All my tags are complete, now I just need to get to wrapping!  Hope you have a great Monday and thanks for stopping by!

Stamps:  Stamper's Anonymous Tim Holtz, PTI On Ice
Ink:  Colorbox Charcoal, PTI Scarlet Jewel
Paper:  Hobby Lobby
Other:  Jingle Bell and Doily

  3. Ahhh thats what all those skates were for. Your tags are adorable.
Last year each of my family got a different colour of wrapping paper for each individual. They didn't like it because I guess they like to read the tag. Maybe I will try all the same this year :)
