Happy Birthday Grandma!

Well hello and happy Tuesday to you all!  As you may have guessed, today is my Grandma's birthday.  This is my dad's mom.  She is a bit like Maxine.  You know the old lady on the Hallmark cards that says exactly what she's thinking and doesn't care what anyone thinks about it!  I'm so grateful to still have both of my grandma's still living.

I'm excited about this card today because I had the idea for it a couple of weeks ago and finally got to try it out!  I laid down a cake doily on lavender moon paper and sprayed glimmer mist over the top of it, then once it was dry I peeled the doily off and it had left a faint outline of it on the paper.  I just love the effect!
Here's a close up of the misted doily.  For the middle doily, I inked it up with lavender moon ink so the white wasn't so garish next to the rest of the colors.  For being Maxine like, I think Grandma will love this card!

I hope you all have a great Tuesday!  Thanks for stopping by!
