Happy Valentine's Day! Today I want to share with you the tags I made for the girls little gifts.
The base for the tags was from an October Afternoon miscellany pack. The cards in the pack were too big and I kept skipping over them, so I trimmed these down. I layered on a few PTI die cut pieces with my MME paper and stamped on my favorite PTI Valentine stamps. To attach these, I did something a bit different. Because the tags were a little tall for the size of the gifts, I punched two holes on the side of the card, right next to each other, then threaded the twine through and tied a bow. It's super secure this way and I love the look, different than a tag dangling from the top, the way I normally attach it.
Do you have big V-day plans? We're doing our normal, fancy dinner at home. It's quite the tradition with us and I'm super excited about it! I'm trying out a new dessert tonight, we'll see how that goes ;) I hope you have a fantastic day! See you tomorrow!! Thanks for popping in for a minute today, I appreciate it.

These are so sweet!
ReplyDeleteHappy Vday to you as well :)
ReplyDeleteYou always make such adorable tags!
We are kind of the same. Dinner together, a little gift exchange and homemade sugar cookies for dessert :)
Very cute! Love the doilies. We don't do much for valentines, just exchange cards and have a nice meal at home. x
ReplyDeleteLove this! Happy Valentine's Day to you and your family.
ReplyDeleteThis is awesome! Have a great day
ReplyDeleteThese turned out so cute. If I did that for my son, it would so be lost on him! I am sure that your girls loved them! I just noticed.....you hit 100+ FOLLWERS....congrats!
ReplyDeleteAmazing! They look so good!
ReplyDeleteI just love these tags. Thanks for sharing
ReplyDeleteFun gift bags, and darling tags..love the doilies! I have no V-day plans..at least not that I know of. My daughter hates V-day right now and the husband is sleeping all day after working a grave. Not sure I want to mess with the crowds later trying to go out to dinner..it might just end up a very quiet night!
ReplyDeleteSweet tags for your girls.
ReplyDeleteI like how you attached them :)
We celebrate this day as a family....but the oldest and youngest were with their boyfriends, so it was Heather, hubby and I.
I bought our desert though, teeheel.
The tags are beautiful! Layers!! We had a night at the basketball courts. Shocking.
