Birthday gift card.

So you know I always make the same gift card holder.  4x6 and score at 1 1/2" and 4" and usually round the corners.

Landry had a birthday party over the weekend and I put off the gift card holder until the very last minute, like walking out the door last minute!

I will say, for waiting until the last minute, I LOVE how this turned out!!!!  (excuse the spray paint on my thumb, I was giving our wicker furniture a fresh coat before I ran in and made this Saturday!)

I literally trimmed the paper for the holder and then grabbed a couple of tags from my leftover bowl, did some quick stamping and I was finished!

I hope you're having a great week so far.  Thanks for stopping by.

Pencil Gift Card Holder.

Awhile back I saw the cutest gift card holder, on Pinterest maybe, made out of a pencil holder.  When back to school supplies rolled around, I snapped one up for like 25 cents!!

Here's the outside all done up :)

And then the inside!!  I love how this turned out!!

Thanks for stopping in today and happy Wednesday :)

Fall gift card holder.

Good morning and happy Monday!  Did you have a nice weekend?  We had such an awesome weekend, lots and lots of family time :)

Last month my parents came out and stayed with the girls (and the dogs) for us and Mike and I picked up a gift card for them to thank them for their help.  I whipped up a quick little holder for the gift card and added a few little embellishments for it.

I love the cork butterfly!!  Butterflies always seem so springy to me, but just by punching one out in cork, now it seems more fall like!!

Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you have an awesome Monday and a fabulous week!!

Brithday gift card holder.

Happy Monday!!  Hope you had a great weekend!  Ours was busy and fun!!  Friday night the girls went their separate ways.  Abie with friends and Landry on a trick or treating hayride with her cousin.

On Saturday I ran around all morning and then Landry had a birthday party that afternoon.  Mike was at home installing the counter tops in the basement!!!  Then on Sunday, more running around and Mike installed the sink in the basement!   We're (and I really me Mike) are almost finished with this three year long project!!

I did get a fair amount of crafting done though so that's awesome!!  We have a lot of November birthdays and for Saturday's party gift card was the present of choice.  I brought home the free gift card holder from the store and then traced it onto cardstock to make my own :)

I found the balloon and star confetti on clearance a couple of weeks ago for like $.30 and knew it would come in handy at some point!!

I just slipped the confetti into one of those zippered jewelry bags from the craft store.

Thanks for stopping by today and I'll see you soon!!  Have an awesome Monday!!

Boy-ish gift card holder.

Happy middle of the week to you!! How are things? We had a busy weekend, school carnival, joint birthday party, volleyball and enjoying some nice weather. Then we headed right into this week with a little more of the same. More nice weather and more volleyball :)

Tonight Abie has conditioning and tomorrow is another school dance, Friday starts spring break.

Last Saturday we had a joint birthday part for Abie and my two nephews. We picked up a gift card for my youngest nephew and I made this holder for it.  I trimmed card stock to 4x6 and scored at 1 1/2" and 4", rounded the corners and then decorated the outside.

Thanks for stopping in today. I hope you enjoy your Wednesday!!

Gift card holders.

Hello Wednesday, oh how I wish you were Friday.  I hope your week is going by quickly.  I'm having a  good week, I just have SO much that I'm excited about, the holidays, the basement, our upcoming trip, that I can barely contain myself!  I hate to wish away my time, but I'm so looking forward to the things to come in just the next few weeks.  Do you find yourself doing that?

Today I wanted to share with you my gift card holders for this year.  I use the same template every year, 4x6 and score at 1 1/2 and 4".  I almost always round my edges and then decorate that puppy up!

I'm using the 12x12 Theresa Collins *I think* paper pad and my $1.50 Michaels stamp.

Loving my baker's twine this year.  I would be LOST without it!

I found those stick pins at Michaels.  Recollections *I think* 40% *for sure* I LOVE them!  Could I have made them?  Probably.  Would I have, maybe?  Would these gift cards be finished now?  No way!  I'm all about streamlining this year and being honest with myself :)

Thanks for popping in today for a minute!  I hope you have a wonderful Wednesday and I'll be back on Friday with a new project!!
