So I didn't completely trash the card.

Remember the card I was working on Wednesday?  I didn't completely trash it, just ripped off four of the strips, trimmed it down and basically started over.  Hahaha!

Here's what I ended up with.


I'm much happier with this card.  The other one, the patterned paper strips didn't go with any of the embellishments I wanted to use, so something had to go.  I love that little cameo, it's got adhesive on the back already so it was super easy to use!

I'm thrilled it's Friday, and a three day weekend for us, well at least the girls in the house.  Unfortunately Mike has to work on Monday.  I'm hoping to get a lot accomplished this weekend, what about you?

    Very pretty! Glad you didn't trash it.
    This weekend is going to be spent trying to get my kids healthy. Evan missed three and a half days of school last week, and Erin is missing three this week with really bad colds. Coughs, aches, runny noses and bad congestion. And now they are both home today since Evan is having ear pain :( So we will be going to the doctor at some point today. So hoping they can recover a bit with the long weekend!

    Very pretty card! I am hoping to finish this project that I am working on that I am NOT loving....that always makes it so much more difficult. That is the main and really only goal for the weekend...lol. Have a great one!

    I love the changes you made to the card, it looks great! The cameo is really awesome :)

    I have a three day weekend too, but after being off 4 days this week, and only being at work for a half day today, I don't know if that counts!
